BSG.CS.01444 — Cloth Seal, Unknown, Circle on Shield

Found in Hobøl, Østfold, Norway, 15mm.

Shield bearing a circle, inscription around // missing

Possibly an inner of a four-disc seal as no rivet but also no obvious tear where other discs were connected. Size and appearance fits with a four-disc English alnage seal but arms are not known and the only letter from the inscription that can be read with certainty is N.
