A Duchy of Holstein Custom House tax seal, dating circa 1600. The obverse bears the crowned letter 'A' and has the inscription, HOLSTEINESCHE DRAT. The reverse has the monogram, P-A-I-D.
Possibly has attachment loop missing from break at top, similar to metal goods seals - BSG.OS.00004.
