Crowned ornate shield bearing the arms of Tudor England supported by lion and greyhound, HONI.SOYT.QVI.MAL.Y.PENSE around // triple, five-petalled rose, HET*MOET*GEELEDEN*SYN* around

Thought to be a Germanic merchants seal for English cloth.

The Dutch inscription suggests its use was restricted to members of a group or syndicate.
