Seed Merchants, Drummond Brothers, Edinburgh Seal, Image by StuE, Found by Grant.
Found in Scotland, 19 x 20mm, 9.0g.
Same inscription on both sides - DRUMMOND BROTHERS curving down and EDINBURGH straight across the middle.
From Paul Cannon, "The following advert probably points to the source of this seal. It seems to show that seals were attached to bags of Drummond Brothers’ seeds. This particular advert appeared regularly in the Tyrone Courier from 1896 to 1907 [source British Newspaper Archive].
