From Gerard de Weger, "Product seal of the 20th century, Inscription: OH de VRY az: DEVENTER".
Probably Wijers of Deventer Seal. See p.13, Meelloodjes, een ‘verborgen’ geschiedenis, B. D. Poppen, "The Wijers Steam Groats and Line Meal Factory in Deventer. Wijers was founded in 1780 and was located in the city center of Deventer until 1891. After the fortifications of Deventer were dismantled from 1876, an industrial area was created on the south side of Deventer. An excellent place for expansion for Wijers, as accessibility was increased due to its location on the IJssel. The Wijers silo was built in 1899 and remained in operation until 1987. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the grain silo was expanded to include a warehouse and a steam digger. Groat meal, corn meal, linseed meal, barley meal, rye meal, mixed grain and various mixed feeds were produced."
